Ecce Homo: Beware of God Talk

I made this beast for the Sci-Fi Love Life show at Hotcakes Gallery in Milwaukee. The beast is a standing critique of religion, a kiosk decorated with anti-religious sentiments from Nietzsche, Freud, Marcuse, Artaud, and others. I have also included references to Buddhist teaching. I see Buddhist philosophy as a potentially positive force for the cessation of worldy suffering, a beautiful moral worldview completely free of the violent, oppressive, sacred, irrational, unscientific, mythological views put forth by most religions.

This piece is 7' tall, made of cut-out pieces of cardboard painted with acrylics.
